Real silly judging question
I'm always reading in magazines about people restoring their cars(and here too). First thing everyone says is the get the tank sticker or build sheet.
My question is, do the judges look for the build sheet on the gas tank? Will they take points if it isn't there?
Also all the C5 and C6 guys are removing the warning stickers from the sunvisors, how would that affect judging?(I Know they have a lot of time before they have to worry about that).
Nope, the tank sticker isn't a judged item - NCRS doesn't judge ANY paper documentation, as it all can be (and is being) reproduced/faked; the car's configuration is judged based on its VIN and trim tag and other "clues", and a reproduction trim tag will be spotted immediately. Missing warning labels will get a minor deduction, as they do today on some C4's.
They couldn't be less concerned if the tank sticker is there or not Frank. The judges only opened my gas lid to see if it worked, and I had a gas bib on and they didn't deduct any points for that.

That would be true...
