87 upper interior door trim question

My interior upper door trim is spreading out or separating. The part is a foam covered in a plastic skin. Is there a way to glue it back to shape? What would work to glue the foam back to the skin? I've seen the price of the replacements, I'd rather try to fix this one first. Thanks

No one has any suggestions..

I guess replacing it is the only option.

I was hoping that was not the case, I understand replacing it if the posts that fasten it down are broken but I figured I could glue the skin back to the foam.

I'm willing to bet that folks with C4s in FCR are a fairly rare breed...



...when my 1985 driver's side was spreading, it turned out that it had split badly behind the arm rest, so we never investigated repair. My thought is that glueing it would be a temporary fix at best.

I would bet your right on both counts.
Glueing would be temporary and C4 guys are likely scarce in this forum.
