Whats the Location of rear letters

I have a 71 need the exact locations for the placement of the letters in the rear? anyone, know or can some one measure them and let me know.

While I can't answer your question directly, since I don't have a template or anything, what is the problem with your rear valence? Is it a replacement or something? My buddy has a 73 that he glassed over the letter holes years ago. During our repaint of his car last year, he decided to put it back correctly. We removed the spare tire carrier and we were able to identify the original holes by looking at the back of the fiberglass. Careful drilling from the inside out gave us our holes.

I had the same problem but on a 62 where the letters are on the front valence. I contacted a fiberglass panel manufactor who sold me a front valence piece that was drilled for the letters and emblem. The company was called "Legendary Corvette" in Warrington, Pa. The cost was $18 with shipping. Good Luck.

Hey thanks for the offer but I went to the junk yard and found a car and made a template. it work out very well. Boy it is so scary to drill into a brand new paint job so scared of scratches and mistakes.
