Default Overspray on intake ...69 big block

where about should the overspray masking line be on a BB intake (aluminum) on a 69 427-390HP car. My NCRS mnaual says the line was crude...but I really need a guide as to how far it went onto the intake.

thanx
Nick

Varied from about 1/4"-3/8" onto the intake, fuzzy and irregular line; it wasn't masked with tape, just a drop-on plastic mask.
