Default Can anyone help ID these part numbers?

Have a extra alternator & distributor that I aquired along the way. Trying to determine the original applications, not sure if they are Corvette applications or not.

The distributor os part number 1110946 dated 1 D 5

The alternator is part # 1100839 dated 1 B 12 42 amp

Thanks

Jim

The 1110946 was used on '58-'61 Corvette base engines, that one was made on April 5th, '61.

The 1100839 was used on '70-'71 passenger cars and '69 trucks; that one was made on February 12, '71.

Thanks John

I thought the alternator was older since it's externally regulated. Thought GM changed to internally regulated alternators in 1970.

They did on Corvettes, but the passenger car changeover was phased-in; that's why dated 1970-71 Corvette alternators are so hard to find - they were only used on Corvettes.

That makes sense Guess I'll keep the correct numbered & dated one on the shelf.

Thanks again
