Default PS and A/C brackets

Hi there
While I'm rebuilding the motor in my mostly original 73 L48, I am trying to correct some of the little errors from a previous owner's rebuild. When I took off the PS, alternator and A/C brackets, 3 of the 4 water pump bolts had to come out. Were some of them supposed to be stud headed bolts? I can't imagine the guys on the GM engine line leaving 3 of them out for the bracket guys, nor can I see them being taken out later and possibly disturbing the water pump gaskets. The spacers on the alternator bracket were not correct looking, either. Anybody have a picture or diagram of how all the accessory brackets are supposed to be installed?
Thanks in advance
Joe

Do you have the '73 Assembly Manual? It shows all those attachments in great detail.

Yes I do, and found the drawings, but it still is a little confusing. A photo is worth 1000 words. LOL Joe
