Default Looking for a Gen 5 V6 clutch disc

Buddy and I are building a track car miata with Camaro drive train. We have a flywheel and a pressure plate and worn out clutch. I haven't been able to find just a clutch disc everywhere is just kits with pressure plate so far. If anyone knows where can just get a disc let me know.

Thanks.

Just a clutch itself seems pretty cheap.

Thanks but I was thinking more like $50. We don’t need any higher than stock holding capacity.

Got ya, Centerforce makes them and various places sell them for under $100 and I believe Napa does as well.

Thanks again. I found that Ford Rangers from around 2000 use the same size clutch disc and teeth. I will do a few measurements tomorrow when at my buddies to work on our build to confirm but I know I can get one of those for $40 or less.

The car in the back is a car that myself and my friend that am building the miata with were on a team that designed and built it back in 1999-2000 for FSAE competition. He bought the car from the school about 10 years ago. It has a Honda 600cc sportbike engine from the 1990s CBR4. Shifting and clutch is with left hand on the side.

Video of me driving it last year:

Camaro powertrain fitting today

It was taken there 8 or so years ago. The wings are too big for that track, I wasn’t there but they said they were just too much to push and the lap was boring, needed way more power.

What are you using for an engine wiring harness and computer? I have a 2010 Camaro v6 engine and manual trans, it has been sitting in the corner of the shop for years

We have a new factory harness that we are sending out soon to get modded and the ECU flashed so that it will work without all of the body control computers. We probably want a spare tranny eventually, how much? 2010 is the older style motor we went with the LFX because the single outlet exhaust will make it easier.

I the event anyone else needs just a disc M-PACT 381116ST1
Is the part number for a Ford disc of the same dimensions that can be had for about $60, that is what we bought.

Hell, I got pulled off the track on my 03 CBRrr for leaving blackies out of every corner. The instructors actually asked me if I was trying to kill myself. They put me in group 3 after that.

They make 320hp and GM is usually pretty conservative on their numbers. Integrated exhaust manifold into the head so easy to make the exhaust.
