Thinking of Selling my 68
I have thought of selling it before but just haven't. I am thinking to put on the DFW craigslist this weekend. Based on what I have seen others listed and prices off Ebay I was thinking of asking $8,000 for it. I don't belong to any F-body forums.
It has a 454 that has less than 500 miles on it, 4-speed T-10 transmission that has a crack that I repaired to not leak but will need a new housing. As seen in the photos the paint is bad, body is decent but needs little work. Minor rust in spots. It runs and drives but needs a restoration and tune up. It has all the chrome. Interior is sparse with a roll bar and no back seat. 4 wheel disc brakes, blow proof bellhousing, driveshaft loop, large aluminum radiator.
Any feedback apreciated on value. I see some real crappy cars with no motors and missing all the little pieces going for way more than I would expect.
