1998 Camaro cavitating again
My son owns my old Camaro and he has cavitation from his fuel pump (again, again, again, and again. That's how many times he's tried to fix the issue). I've finally convinced him to run twins in the tank and we had a conversation on the Holley Dominator 12-1400. http://www.holley.com/12-1400.asp
Any of you guys use this? We are going to Hobbs the 2nd pump and at some PSI (TBD) to handle the 735 RWHP he has at 17PSI(Full boost).
I think it looks great and the numbers for GPM are more than adequate for his car. He runs at 54PSI and cranks the pressure up to 71 PSI at full boost with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator.
Opinions?
TIA,
Elmer
