I am watching it right now and in the first ten minutes it appears the factory is more high tech than the Corvette factory. They have a lot of robots doing the work.

I watched it yesterday. That must be one expensive plant. When they said the stamping equipment cost 300 million, I thought holy smokes they'd better sell a lot of Camaros.

A couple thousand robots was pretty cool to see. Especially the "shift change" of the robots and dies stamping the doors.

One funny thing I caught was the lady that took the Camaro through the water test and then looked everywhere so carefully for water leaks.
Then as she is walking away, she shuts the drivers door by the top of the glass. Doh! Someone needs to train that lady that you shut doors by the door handle not the glass. Or replace her with a robot.
The bots in the paint shop knew how to open and close doors properly.

Watched the show. Pretty sweet and high tech. It's on again on the same channel 10/22 at 3 p.m. EST.
