Well, I finally found the right car for me. I found a 2002 SILVER Z28 (A4) with 37,000 miles in Daytona Beach. I drove down and took a look and drove it. It had two areas that had some scratches on it, but I was pretty sure I could work with the two areas with some polish and a buffer, so I over looked them. Super clean exterior and the engine looks brand new. No noticeable leaks around the rear axle and the only aftermarket mod on it was a 3" pipe frrom the y-pipe back and a MAGNAFLOW muffler. Besides needing to lower the car, I need to find some wheels, not keen on the stock 16" wheels it come with.
Very nice! The exhaust looks whacked, tho...it's hanging too far from the bumper. Put a Yank 3200 in it!
They are a little whack. The previous owner put an after market muffler on it with a 3" pipe from the y-pipe back and they had the stock tips welded on, so that is why they hang so much lower, I checked the hanging brackets and there really isn't much I can do, unless I have the pipes cut and re-welded, which I am not, because I want something different anyways, so I will deal with it.

What exhaust are you thinkin'? I currently run a BorlaMouth, which sounds great with the 383/Hooker LTs/!CATS!...
I remember way back when I bought my 2000 Z28 new and she was virgin stock. Lasted less than 3 weeks before the mods started going on...

Actually, I liked my SLP LOUDMOUTHS when I had them on my 1999 Z28. I know that alot of people hated them, but that is what I am leaning towards, however, I am going to research a little and see what I find.

The LM sounds great as long as you are running cats, plus it is all stainless. If stainless isn't a big deal to you, Hooker makes a nice CHEAP cat-back...

Looks great congrats, I've been looking for over a month and can't seem to find a Z28 or an SS thats in good shape.
Thanks, there are a couple of really nice SS and Z28s posted on LS1TECH available in the JAX, FL area. You may want to check them out. One was a definite look for me until I found this one. The guy really did a great job of keeping it clean and making some nice decisions in his wheels, suspension and radio installs.
Nice clean Z28. I've got a '02 with 15k miles on it (spend more time modding than driving). I'll be selling it this spring as I don't have the space for it anymore. I'll miss it- it's been a fun car.
