Default New Seats for the 67!!!

Here are some pics of my new seats for my 67 Camaro. The fronts are out of a 97 30th Annivsary Z28, that I had redone in black leather(yes real leather), with perforated inserts, and red stitching. For the back seat, I had the 67 back seat redone to match the 4th Gen seat pattern. Now I just have to put in the new headliner, cut pile carpet(as opposed to the loop style carpet that would be in it originaly), and some other lol odds and ends. I can't wait til after the holidays to start back on it. It should look pretty !

Very nice work! Are you getting the door panels redone in leather or vinyl to match? That would complete the look.

I had a 1987 IROC-Z that I installed '95 Trans Am seats in, and had the door panels, and rear seat redone to match (grey leather). It looked great when it was done, and was a huge improvement over the faded, worn out cloth interior the car had when I bought it.

Nice!

I really want to put modern racing seats in my '69, but the stock seats in it are so mint I can't see the point in spending the $$$ on it when there is other stuff it needs...

Ya I know what you mean. The seats I had before were the stock buckets redone, but not in the original seat pattern. So I sold them to my neighbor's friends wife(gift for her husband who has a 67 also), and used the funds to finish the 97 seats. So in the end it cost me a couple hundred for the front seats after having them recovered.

Same here brother. It would be nice to keep the same seat style and configuration just in leather though.
