First off it's 8 years overdue by 2010. I get the feeling with the delays that it is being bean counted to death already and will end up not nearly as sweet as what we've seen so far. If so I'm officially done with G.M. Please make this car as you've shown and we will buy it. If you don't then you guys deserve to be gobbled up by someone.

Ive already heard from Scott Settlemire that the actual production Camaro is almost identical to the concept. Only a few minor changes will be made.
I hope so but G.M. has been known to lie once in awhile. If they build as shown I will buy it. I already have the first spot reserved here in Arizona supposedly. For the convertible that is.

It's 5 years late if it wanted any chance of competing with the Mustang. But is 2010 confirmed? They have had the concept for ages and kept putting the date back and back.
Well I hear 2009 for coupe and 2010 for convertible from some sources, and some say 2010 and 2011. I hope sooner than later. G.M. is so stupid it make me very mad. All they have to do is look on ebay at how much any camaro or firebird is going for to remind them that those cars still have a huge following. Heck if I would have bought the last 2002 35th anniversary car thatmy dealership had for what I could've in 2002 I wouldn't have lost anything on it to this day. That says everything about how much us F-body lovers desire these cars.
I dont think Chevrolet said that about the Mustang. I know what you mean though but I trust what Scott Settlemire says since he is the Fbodfather. But only time will tell.

I had a 35th LE SS and there is no way in hell I would pay $35k right now for one. Im a F-body lover also but that is way too much for one of those. Now if it was the very last 35th LE SS that was made I might pay that price because it has a 427 in it.
Aw heck, who cares if it ever comes out. I have a Camaro and I'm happy with it. I couldn't come up with my convertible at a reasonable price, but my '98 Z28 is a nice car. A few flaws, but in reality, even the new ones have flaws unfortunately.
So by waiting, the only ones GM is hurting are themselves - more Mustangs and Chargers selling daily instead of GM vehicles.

I recently had to make a decision... Continue with the mounting "BS" at work, as my employer keeps creating more and more paperwork and other hoops to jump through, or hang it up and retire. I chose retirement, as I'm just tired of the rat race. I should be finishing up in 6-7 months.
What that means, is probably a lot less $$ to throw at my cars, but a far more relaxed lifestyle. As others have said, if they had come out with it sooner, I'd have considered selling my '96 Z-28 and getting an '06 or '07, had they released them. Now, I won't make that kind of financial commitment.
