I pulled the exhaust fuse and put on bridgestone runflat tires, those are the only changes to the car.

Did 3 pulls. The first 2 were back to back, then we let the car sit for about 15 minutes before the last pull. The last pull was the highest:
Dynojet SAE 447.97 HP 416.44 TQ
No A/F reading since I didn't have a bung.

Below average, average, above average numbers?
Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings.

The place needs to have ample televisions with NFL Sunday Ticket, decent food, cheap beer, and preferably free peanuts that you can throw on the ground.
Anything like that close by? :bigears

Great deal if you are looking to switch to Borlas. I would have killed for a deal like this when I bought them new. Here's the situation - my car is currently at A&A Corvette in Oxnard getting worked on. The car is too loud for me w/ headers, so I would like to go back to the stock Ti's. I don't want to go through the hassle of pulling them off, selling & shipping them & buying another set of Ti's. So take advantage of the situation.
These are excellent condition Borlas w/ ~5k miles, no dents or anything. If you have a set of good condition Ti's, all you have to do is make a trip to Andy's shop, pay him to swap the exhausts, and they are yours.

Just published in Autoweek - pretty accurate mag - that GM has cancelled the mid-engined C7 that was do out in 2014-15 - this is do to economics - DUH! :ack:

They say that the C6 production will last 12 years - 2005 = 2017 which = BORING! :smash:

The C7 would have had a dual clutch gearbox what was being developed by Saab fitted to a supercharged V6 or V8

They at GM are also saying that the C6 may be the last Corvette - they have no development funds left after the Government raped them - sorry - realined / re-constructed them- whatever they did!  :nono:

Hot Nevada Vettes is proud to host the 2010 Western States Corvette Council Convention in Las Vegas, May 5th - 9th. Last year we have 211 Corvettes participate from 31 Corvette Clubs from around the country. We had Corvettes drive in from as far away as Ohio! Everyone is welcome to join the fun whether you belong to a club or not. This is an opportunity to enjoy meeting other Corvette owners and compete in activities such as rallyes, drag racing, go kart racing, autocross and a judged & people’s choice car show under the canopy on Fremont Street. To even make this more special this year we have a super low rate from the Tuscany Suites and Casino of $49 per night! These are huge, newly remodeled rooms with wet bars and living rooms. Once again we plan on raising money for Corvettes Conquer Cancer and the American Cancer Society! Last year we brought in about $3000 and we look to do much more than that in 2010 with your help!

After reading about all the speeding ticket and CHP posts I'm mystified by the fact that I'm always being passed by young girls in ratty cars or Soccer mom looking women in SUVs.

I typically drive at least 10 mph or so miles an hour over the limit everywhere. Yesterday I was in Santa Clarita on Soledad Canyon Rd being tailgated by a woman in a Honda Pilot. I'm going 50 in a 40 zone, I pull over and she blows by me like I'm standing still. On the highway I always see young girls driving anything from a POS Toyota to BMWs tooling right by me in the right lane, and I'm usually doing 80.

I've only been living here 18 months but I started to noticed this right away, must've counted dozens, what gives? Am I just not noticing guys driving that way too, must I admit to being sexist? Why would the cops have to bother with speeding Corvettes with all this low hanging fruit to pluck?

Is it just me?
