Come watch some great road racing!

MTI Racing will be at Road Atlanta Sat/Sun Nov. 28 & 29. This is the Thanksgiving weekend. It will be a great place to bring family (or escape from family).

We will be racing the MTI Racing 2010 Camaro and our record-setting Z06 Corvette with the 500cu.in. RHS block. We will also have a bunch of our track day customers there enjoying the weekend in their Corvettes, Camaros, and Cadillacs too.

We encourage everyone to come out and join us. Bring a camera. These events are great for spectators wanting to see and hear some incredible rides as they fly around one of Georgia's most iconic race tracks.

Just look for the HUGE MTI Racing tractor trailer in the paddock area and come on by and say hello and check out some of the shops newest project cars.:thumbs:

C6 Z06 caliper pin part number?

Does anyone have the GM or AC Delco part number for replacement pad guide pins for the 6 piston front calipers? Is there a different p/n for the allen head or the torx? I need the allen heads if I can get them.

Your help is appreciated.

C5 inner fender part number?

I've been searching for some time for the Part number for both the front left and right inner fender part numbers. Does anyone know them? or how to find them? I think I'm going to need to order at least one to repair a little booboo.

NASA ST1 engines for sale

I have two engines that I am no longer needing. Here are the details. The first is my spare short block that I kept for my C5. The second is my freshened Nationals motor from 2008. Both of these are good for 560 hp to the wheels (perfect for NASA ST1) and going fast in general. If you are interested in either, contact me for more details.

new LS2 block with Darton sleeves (4.125" bore)

Wiseco Forged pistons (good for 12.25:1 with my AFRs)

I think I have over $9000 in the short block with the parts and machining. It was hand assembled by Eric Koenig of HK Engines out of Texas. He is one of the more respected LS builders out there. It's still in the shipping crate I received it in.

This motor has paddock time only on it. I drove it in and out of the trailer at Nationals. It has never even been on the dyno. The short block is built with great parts had has fresh pieces in it, but ultimately the crank, rods and pistons have some time on them (20 hours or so). The heads are very nice pieces and are worth a lot. I do not want to pull them and sell them though because the motor is a running unit.

Both are in Utah and can be crated and shipped.

After hearing some words about how the ls3 is a horrible race motor (because of the oiling issues i guess), I found it funny to see this.

Anybody have any experience with driving a corvette with drop spindles on the track? What adjustments to the suspension would you have to make since the center of gravity,the roll center, and the roll stiffness are going to change?

Dual A-Pillar Gauges on a C5 at the track?

Hey all, is anybody running dual a-pillar gauges on their C5 at the track (road courses)? I'm going E85, and want a nice wide-band to monitor my air/fuel (both to monitor my tune, and protect against a bad tank of E85). I'm looking at a two gauge PLX setup with both wide-band and OBD-II (so I can keep AFR on one, and any OBD-II feed I want on the other).

I have two GM Motorsports transmissions left. These boxes have specific ratios only built for GM Motorsports.

These are not available any longer.

Originally designed around World Challenge racing they were built only for a limited time and available only to race teams. They have HD bearings, syncro's, larger shafts.

We have gone through both of these, including complete REM treatment. Full race prep includes inspection and/or replacement of all gears, sliders, and shafts. There is very little drive train loss with this transmission and RPM drops are shown below, which makes this a super close ratio gearbox.

Again, keep in mind these are no longer available from GM. When they are gone they are gone!!!

Ratio's are:
1st: 2.29 (2078 RPM Drop between 1st and 2nd)
2nd: 1.61 (1695 RPM Drop between 2nd and 3rd)
3rd: 1.22 (1262 RPM Drop between 3rd and 4th)
4th: 1.00 (1050 RPM Drop between 4th and 5th)
5th: 0.85
6th: N/A

The transmission was worth close to 1.5 seconds off our lap times at Mid-Ohio.
