Hot Nevada Vettes is proud to host the 2010 Western States Corvette Council Convention in Las Vegas, May 5th - 9th. Last year we have 211 Corvettes participate from 31 Corvette Clubs from around the country. We had Corvettes drive in from as far away as Ohio! Everyone is welcome to join the fun whether you belong to a club or not. This is an opportunity to enjoy meeting other Corvette owners and compete in activities such as rallyes, drag racing, go kart racing, autocross and a judged & people’s choice car show under the canopy on Fremont Street. To even make this more special this year we have a super low rate from the Tuscany Suites and Casino of $49 per night! These are huge, newly remodeled rooms with wet bars and living rooms. Once again we plan on raising money for Corvettes Conquer Cancer and the American Cancer Society! But reality is some things take advanced planning and dates must be set up so I want you to please set these dates aside for next year. August is a great time to visit Michigan. These events are all within Woodward Dream Cruise Week.

August 14, America's Corvette Club of Michigan will have it's annual All Corvette Show. This is the tenth year and we are planning lots of surprises. The shows web site and regisrtation will be up and running soon. This show is consistanly the largest All Corvette Show in Michigan. You might want to keep the whole weekend open

August 18, 2010 Corvettes on Woodward Food Drive & Cruise. Last year I had over 280 Corvettes, we donated thousands of cans of food & hundreds of dollars. The winner of the 50/50 drawing won 240.00. The caravan leaving the Raddison Hotel took over two lanes of Woodward and was almost two miles long. Check out the video on You Tube. "Corvette on Woodward 08-12-2009" How can it get better? I am working on next years CORVETTES ON WOODWARD and I thought about how many people showed up and I either know their car or the screen name. I also have been known to send out Christmas Cards. So if you would PM me I will appreciate it. If you would like to say what year and color you deive that would be cool too. Hey how about 400 Corvettes for next year? Think that is too many to try for?

7. Saturday @ NOON - August 28, 2010 - REV YOUR ENGINES for 15 seconds & follow with a moment of silence. A tribute for my father, Chip Miller, who passed away from amyloidosis (more info: ChipMiller.org).

8. Chip's Choice is a special invitation-only display inside of Building T that highlights one aspect of the Corvette hobby. This year's theme will be "Corvettes - America's Sports Car". The display will showcase and tell the story of Corvettes that represent the "America" in the Corvette nickname America's sports car.
