Hi All, had a vist with Shawn at LG on tuesday. Had retune of my 05 LS2. Last visit made 440 hp and 400 tq, Installed a Spinmonster spec Comp cam and Spin-Fast intake. Also put in a set of FIC flow matched 50 lb injectors. New numbers 482 hp and 425 tq, most amazing the there is a hp and tq increase form start to finish of the curve. The driveability is as good or may be better than before.
Thanks Spinmonster and LG motorsports

Although fairly new, is anybody else running or building the RHS block.
Ive found a couple of posts and a build thread that Wegner motor sports did awhile ago but Im looking for input to the downfalls of this block, if any, besides price. I have also read that the design may cause some oiling issues, true?
(Not looking to compare it to the warhawk or lsx. Im weighing my options on aluminum only against the LS7 for price and power)

I am installing my new GMPP valve covers. There is no PCV hose barb. I assume it is important to have this hose vented to the MAF housing like the factory did. Why did they not provide the barb?? How do they want me to set up the PCV system?

Will the hose from the valley pan to the intake be sufficient. I have no catch can at this time.

No hose barb on this cover.

Hey guys...I have a 2005 c6 z51 6spd with a DTE 4:10 REAR END and a few other mods..My issue is this damn wheel hopping...It seems so violent and is always there, no matter from a roll, or a dig...I replaced the run flats with 305/30 19 michelin ps2's.Now a friend of mine with a built c6 z06 told me to put in solid transmission mounts to cut the wheel hop down...
Do you think these will help??? They are about $270..And I already replaced my rear end once, and DO NOT want to do it again..

Any thoughts or reccomendations???? I thought about a DTE brace, but I hear they wont save ur rear end from going out, just keep it from crumbling up..

As of November 1, 2009, SDPC became the exclusive distributor for Nick Williams DBW Throttle bodies! As such, we will strive to keep his entire line on hand.

We will offer, in conjunction with the already popular cable TB line, his new 92, 102, and 105MM DBW throttle bodies. We can also do custom sizes for your particular needs. These new DBW TBs use the C5 style 2 connection actuator motor. Using these motors will of course take a different harness when used with a single plug style connector like found on the GTO or late C6 applications. NOT A PROBLEM! We have the harness to make these throttle bodies forward compatible as well.

We have 92, 102, and 105 DBW throttle bodies and jumper harnesses in stock NOW! If you are a Nick Williams distributor you will still get the same great pricing as always. The DBW TBs have a pricing structure that is fair to everyone including the end user! Let’s keep it clean!

So, now, on to the pictures!!!

I'll be installing my headers and an insulated tunnel plate in the next few days and have a few questions with regard to bolt torque. According to the torque specs listed on the FAQ the exhaust manifolds are torqued to 15 lb ft. Is this what everyone is using for headers? Are any thread lockers used? Are the tunnel plate bolts what are referred to as the "driveline tunnel closeout panel bolts" that get torqued to 89 lb in?

Alright Guys..... I am back again with some great results!
I received my motor on 11/06/09 at 5 p.m pulled an all nighter and had her running at 11/07/09 6:15 a.m. After so much hard work and time spent on my car "Satans Zo6" is back to life! I got to drive her home at 5 P.M after finishing all my customers cars... as promised ;)

Details :

I tried my best to work out that RHS Block but it just did not fit my time period! After 3 weeks of hearing we will receive the block this week I decided to go with the Warhawk...... I Like High revs and as I said this has to be a "budget Build", so we went with the short deck "454" end results were Incredible...although I did run out of Fuel Injectors "max Duty" and MAF Sensor...BUZZ KILL! Car maxed out at 593 RWHP and 535 TQ...... I was also running cats! She asks for more fuel starting at 5700 rpm so we know these numbers will be much higher once everything is complete :D:D:D I will replace the MAF sensor and the fuel Injectors as well as knock out the stuffed cats! I will need a 102 ported fast as well since I am not getting enough air in :/ . The car is also on the smaller ... "More streetable cam" which cost me a 40 Hp drop to the flywheel..... She is incredibly FAST!!

Special thanks :

I would Like to thank Chad @ "Golen Engine" Man behind his word! Also the man that covered 2 cam swaps and ate the cost of them because he wanted to go the extra mile as I like to do my self and only work with those who do!

I would Also like to thank Mike and Tad @ "Haddad Motor Sports" For taking their time and putting in that fine tune! Thanks for the colder plugs MIKE! "GIFT"
