My project is starting to look like a real engine.

Just got the heads on so I figured I would mock up the intake and throttle body...very slick.

Yep, that sure is looking purdy :D

Are you going to do anything to help keep the intake/ heads from oxidizing over time ?

I had thought about doing something to the finish, but figured anything I did would only ruin it. Aged aluminum is not as bad as a botched clearcoat job...:)

I also forgot to slip the NOS big shot plate beneath the throttle body. This will be my first REAL engine...

A bit excited...:D

What brand intake & TB are they? And will it clear a C4 hood? :D

I'm not sure if they would clear a C4 hood. It is a Holley 950 Commander MPFI setup. The intake is pretty tall, taller than the Victor Jr. it replaced!

The engine is going into a 1969 Nova-sitting to the left of it.

Awesome dealing with new parts...:)
