Eagle SIR I beam rods

I bought a set of these. Are they as good as they are pretty? I was thinking these rods with a scat 9000 crank. Bad idea?

Not exactly sure why you'd think that is a "bad idea."?
I am using a SCAT 9000 crank with SCAT H-beam rods.
A cast (steel, nodular) crank can be safely used upwards of 600hp without much issue. A 450hp motor does NOT need a 800-1100 dollar crank, the money would be WELL spent elsewhere. RPM is the main issue, if you want to run above 6500rpm, YES a forged crank would be a "good" idea. It can resist the harmonics a lot better than a casting.

I have the Eagle I beam SIR rods too, 5140's, they cost about the same as PM so I though why not, they work well so far! You cant go wrong with forged over PM just depends on your HP/TQ if you need H-beam
