Default Variable Valve Timing on a Chevy V8?

Has anyone heard or used a brand of timing chains called CAM CORRECT? It goes for $530 at :www.competitionproducts.com They claim to have variable valve timing (the cam is advanced through the lower RPM range, and then it's retarded (in crankshaft degrees I mean) throughout the higher RPM's. They have a site but it doesn't have much info: http://www.camcorrect.com
In all these years I've been reading magazines and forum posts, I've never came across them.
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

this one is enw to me, there''s another one called hotrockers, their setup has a variable fulcrum on the rocker and it uses external electrical motors to change the ratio.

I found this link on another forum (it may be the same part) that gives a better (yet still vague) description.

I might just try this because the cost of a two piece roller button cover and timing chain is nearly as much

I run one of those in 69 in my 428 Cobra. It was a gear that went of the cam and used a normal timing chain. What is was is a gear that was spring loaded. At low speeds the spring was not strong enough to hold the cam and it advanced. As rpm built the load on the spring decreased and the cam sprocket retarted. It was call a Vari Cam. It never really made much difference.
While I never saw what you are talking about for $530 I could be wrong but that is what I ran in 69.
