Mark 4 block heads bolts what to seal with ?
What do I use to seal the head bolts that go into the water jackets. I have some Gaskisinch and Perma tecs (sp?) Any special consideration with copper gasketts?

I don't know about copper head gaskets.
But I swear by Permatex No. 2B for the head bolts. It's the black stuff that sort of smells like the pine tar baseball players use on their bats. I've also used regular gray Permatex in the past, too.
I had a bad experience once with "Teflon Paste." It cost me a camshaft, lifters, and a complete set of bearings. Not to mention the hassle of rebuilding the engine for a second time. I can't recommend that stuff at all. Other people use it with no problem.

I just did all my studs with Permatex Hylomar Gasket dressing and flange sealant. It was recommended to me by a local race motor shop. I only use the Permatex red spray can on head gaskets.
