In preparation for running nitrous I made a few runs tonight naturally aspirated to make sure that I didn't lose anything by going to the MSD Programmable Digital 7.
My last numbers were 708.5rwhp and 622.8rwtq. The 709.9 and 626.9 are not huge gains but at least I didn't lose anything. Anytime you make a change of any kind that possibility is out there.
These new numbers convert to 841.1hp and 737.9tq at the flywheel. The really cool thing is that these numbers are through the mufflers and with an air cleaner in place.
I have had somewhat of a hard time acquiring the VP NO2 racing gas. This is the gas that is needed to run with my nitrous setup. I finally found a place that will sell me some but they won't have any until next Tuesday.
Oh well, I have to wait for a break in the weather anyway. Nothing but rain up here.

I'll say one thing,,,that sucker sure is consistent!! You beat on that thing and beat on it and it keeps on producing!! That is one heck of an engine!!!
Did you do any individual cylinder timing playing yet? That will be interesting. Sounds like we're getting real close to letting her rip!

Your close to Auburn correct?? there is a 76 here that has 112 octane for 5.49 a gallon, and then 119 or 121 "I forget which" which is specifically designed for Boosted/Nitrous appliactions, I think its closer to 7 bucks a gallon. also it's trick racing fuel.

Congrats on the continuing great results! Here's an idea for you on the 116 fuel: whenever I have been looking for C16 and normal hot rod places are closed or out of stock I have gone to motorcycle shops - many of the dirt bike and hot rod Harley shops stock 116 octane by the sealed 5 gallon can.
Re: New DynoJet Numbers: 709.9rwhp & 626.9rwtq! (542C2)
seems like everywhere fuel supply is a problem...i ran my dyno this weekend for an open house and that subject popped up quite often. my car runs fine on 93 sunoco... in this part of the country the race fuel for the summer is sold out of the same pumps that held kerosene all winter...is that a good idea? :skep:

1985z51: That would scare me a little. If I were you I would do a little more research.
inqbus383: I do all the engine assembly/blueprinting. A friend of mine does the machine work such as balancing, torque plate hone, etc. His name is Art Davidson and owns Davidson Racing Engines.
