I hope anyone's consideration of surfacing the pressure plate, takes a complete rebuild into account at the same time. By only surfacing the pp, the springs will be working in a new, further extended, position. The longer "working" spring height will decrease the amount of pressure exerted on the clutch disc. Also, like brake drums and rotors, the pp absorbs and dissapates heat. A certain minimum mass must be retained. Good luck, and...

RACE ON!!!
