Default Brazing an oil return fitting to pan

I need to BRAZE a fitting onto my oil pan. Have MIG welded for years but NEVER brazed. Any advice appreciated. TIA !!!

brazing is using a brass rod and flux but the big thing is to make sure that the surfaces are clean and oil free. if the part is steel i would TIG weld it. :chevy
