TPI or Victor efi?

Okay I was originally working on converting a torquer manifold to EFI. I decided to stop just cause I didn't like the shape of the runners at the exit.
I just bought a Billet 1000cfm Accel throttle body, And was thinking of picking up a victor EFI manifold which is only 250 bucks or so. Accel makes one too along with Holley. But on the other side of the scope. I was thinking about the TPI units. I know stock they run out of breath around 5k rpm. But if high flow runners and baseplate was installed, along with a 1000 cfm throttle body. Everything else is already there, Perhaps just larger Fuel rails, which I already have. Could/ would the TPI system be a possible idea? hoping to see around 1045hp at 7k

1045 HP? Is that a typo?

TPI isn't going to cut it for a 7000 rpm engine...

Go with the single plan setup-Holley/Victor/etc...

For that kind of power (airflow) I'd look at the BDS tunnel ram based systems.

Are you familiar with Doug Hegge's 1000+hp TT 375? http://www.jdhcon.com/vette , he's near you up in the Seattle area I believe. He recently switched from a EFI converted Victor JR to a Miniram II and he said he didn't lose ny pwoer or torque across the rpm range. He had to machine the fuel rails to increase flow, but there doesn't seem to be any difference on performance. By the time you add up the cost of an aftermarket TPI base and larger runners, the MRII might not be a bad option and it will obviously support flow up to and past 7000rpm.

I would like to just stick with the Victor style manifold. I am actually waiting on the throttle body still, "should be here by friday." I will do comparative test fit. As long as it fits under the hood then I am good to go. I believe the victor EFI manifold is 4.5 inches total height. I believe the total height of the my current torquer manifold is a whopping 3.75 or so. now my old setup used an inch spacer to allow the hat to sit over the carb. All I can hope for is a drop in the overall height of the throttle body compared to the Holley.

Definitely go with the ACCELL/LPE PRO-RAM, here is mine with a modified PLENUM box I made, plus an Edelbrock Spread bore-to-Dominator 1" spacer, which dramatically increases the plenum area for high RPM usage. The stock T.B. was just used to mock-up purposes. This isn't for a C-4 application, but you get the picture. HTH's
