Default Holley Street Avenger carbs...

Alright...Trying to figure out which carb to get. The 350 I'm building, by my calculations, should have 450 HP N/A. I want to get a street avenger carb for it. I know 770cfm would be good enough. However, will I need maybe an 870 for when i get a supercharger and NOS? I don't want to buy the 770 is I need a bigger one for those 2 things which I'm sure to get in the near future after I'm dont building the sucker. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

-Tony

The Street Avenger is a vacuum secondary carb. You might want to look at the double pumper type of carb with mechanical secondaries. The Speed Demon 750 comes to mind.
You will notice from my sig. that I have a Holley Street Avenger. I like it a lot, but I don't have anywhere near the horsepower that you are expecting.

I agree with 1979toy, 750/770 is plenty big enough for a 350. I also agree that, if you're serious about performance (and it's a 450hp engine), a double pumper would be a logical choice. While an 870 might provide a few more ponies at the top, it would likely cost as much below where you can really use it.
