F-body LS1 in a 84 Corvette

Can this be done, and will it work properly. Also if I use the LS1 computer will I still pass smog, and will all the other components of the corvette still function without the old engine and ECM. Does anybody have experince on this or know of any websites or other sources of this or any knowledge that can shed some light on this topic. Any info on this will help :yesnod: :)

Ir can be done, some guy here in the Netherlands did it and there was someone in Houston too. It won't be easy but it can be done.

I believe it was TracerX who put an LS1 in his 84... try emailing him...
