All my buddies Sprint cars use them. Springs die from heat. You said that you had two broken springs. Maybe yours will last longer and maintain a more consistant spring pressure with oilers.

they are mostly used in circle track racing because the "G" forces in the turns keeps oil from getting to the springs. these were first used by chevy at the indy 500 with the stock block chevys because they were burning up the springs at the brickyard. :chevy

I've got them in my fabricated billet valvecovers. I use them because I run .100" restrictors due to the solid roller cam. The valvespring oilers allow me to still direct an adequate supply of oil to the springs and Jesel shaft rockers for cooling and lube, without overwhelming the topend with an unnecessary volume of oil.

I've got a set of the GM Performance Parts cast aluminum covers with valvespring oilers in them, you can have them if you want. They were set up for a dry sump system, so there's a 1/2" hole for a scavenge line, but it can be easily plugged. I don't need them since I ahve the billet covers.
