Default Heads revisited

Which would be the better choice.
Edelbrock Performer RPM- 64cc chamber 170cc runners- $941
Dart Iron Eagles 72cc chambers 180cc runners- $999
Dart Iron Eagles 72cc chambers 200cc runners- $899

Do I need new bolts for the Dart heads? I know I would need new bolts and washers to use the Edelbrocks.

Default Re: Heads revisited (redwingvette)

May I suggest the "Corvette" heads. they have high velocity intake ports with an excellent intake/exhaust ratio. A great torque head for the street. The samll chamber also bump compression. I think LPE sells ported "Corvette" head with bigger valve for higher RPM power. these are the heads found on the ZZ4 crate motor. The edelbrock heads are similar. I think oyu can find them for $500-$600.
