Speed Demon or Edelbrock Performer?

I'm in the market for a carb to put on my ZZ4 Fastburn 385 crate motor that was just put into my '61. :cheers: :cheers: The choice is between the Speed Demon 750 double pumper with mechanical secondaries and the Edelbrock Performer. Knowledgeable people say the Edelbrock will make the engine run like it's fuel injected! Others say the Demon is the best performance that you can get! The Edelbrock save me more than $100. I'm having a hard time deciding. :confused: If anyone has experience with the Demon and, or the Edelbrock please let me know which is best. :D

Demon or Holley...... I never did like the Carter (Edelbrock) design much.

id go with the demon, the overall quality and fit and finish wins hands down, stay away from the edelbrock, they are great for stock engines but they take more tuning to get right.....jmo......... :cheers:
