Default best mod on a budget

hey i have an 87 l98 vette with some basic bolt ons like headeers, full exhaust, stage 2 chip, vortec rammer intake, shift kit the car runs 13.7 just wwondering the next best mod with a budget of 1000$$

It would help if you provided some more information about what you want to target with the next mod. Are you trying to lower your ET, increase your top end power, shift your power band, etc.?

Also, what's your current rear end ratio? What tires and rims are you using? Have you done anything to extend the reliability of your HEI at upper RPM? (I take it that you're using the stock aluminum heads and stock roller cam right now.) Any other info on your chassis/engine mods would help.
