L-88 ???? Help !

Hi All,hope Im in the right section here...if not please re direct me ! I have a 427 motor and have been told all sorts of different things about it I have checked the engine number and casting numbers on different sites and it seems im either missing a number or letter or its something rare ? Eng Number is TO131LD casting number is 3963512 which has led me to believe its a 69-71 Corvette 427. Someone also said its an L-88 and someone else offered me big dollars for it ! It unfortunately doesn't have the Alloy heads which doesn't matter to me. the engine is currently in a 39 Chevy Hot Rod and has been since 1978. Also many many years ago the owner of the car in which this motor belongs was looking for it.. I believe he lived in Tasmania ?? anyway I hope to find out more about this motor if you can help.. Hi Thanks for that..but it is a 4 bolt main...just got rebuild 1 year ago.

The Factory didnt offer a Corvette 427 in 1970/1971 -- it was a 454 cid. (LS5 and LS6 respectfully) .

In 1969, the engine suffix was -LO or -MR for the L88.
