Default camshaft for a 327 in a C2

This is for member of my club

I hope everyone has had great Holidays. I am looking for some suggestions on selecting a cam shaft for my 327 engine. The cylinders are bored 0.030 over and it has a small journal crankshaft. I am planning on replacing the cylinder heads with aluminum ones. The horse power I am looking for is 300 to 350. My plans are for street use. I guess I want a flat tappet, hydraulic lifters, with roller rockers. So I am looking for some guidance on selecting a cam as far as lift and duration. Suggestions on manufacturer and supplier will be helpful as well.

I have a Muncie 4sp close ratio transmission: 1st – 2.20, 2nd – 1.64, 3rd – 1.28, 4th – 1, reverse 2.27-1. The rear differential gears are 3:55.

The compression ratio is 10:50

I myself would go for 291 Camel Humps or 461's bowl ported and polished exhaust runners

With a set of -291 heads bowl ported and polished exhaust runners we are making ~530hp on a flat tappet 406 with stock crank, stock block, i beam rods and flat top pistons

Its all about properly setting everything up
