Default >>>NEW<<< Hot Rod Engine >>>SBC 383 Stroker!!!

I have a Brand New 383 Stroker Engine that I had Built a few years back...Its all Brand New...Complete Engine,,From intake to oil pan to Balancer..At the time I spent over $14,000...in parts...but now it can be bought for $9,000...It has over 13.1 comp..

I'll take $6995 or obo for it now in 2010 take another $1000 discount off!!

The only time its been run was when it was dyno'd, thats it...and that cost me over $600 by the time it was done...I think they used only 100octane for the dyno run..

Ok, after a litle break-in they did only a few pulls..I just wanted a base line performance so I would know where to start with some other parts I would be needing for the motor to go into my pro-mod C3 vette..Basically it was just dyno'd for some base numbers...so I am sure it will make even more power than it did...

With a 750 carb, timing set @ 33....Jets P:74 S:83

RPMs.. TQ .. HP
4300 478.1 391.4
4500 490.3 420.1
5000 496.5 472.7
5500 478.9 501
6000 466.2 533
6500 442.5 548

We have the dyno sheets for all the other numbers..

It has all the best stuff in it..It was built for Nitrous at least a 500hp shot..
I can go into more depth with someone if they are interested in the motor, thanks call me!!

I also have the NOS Pro-Show Direct Port Complete Nitrous System, that still Brand New In the Plastic, it cost over $1,350...so if you wanted this also...I am sure we can work soming out...

Here's a few pics..

Over 14000.00 dollars in parts !! what is so speicial about this 383 and what are you using for a crank rods and pistons that cost so much.

It says its all new but the intake and balancer look used to me!! We have never bought a new ATI blancer that had rusted bolts in it.

"I have a Brand New 383 Stroker Engine that I had Built a few years back"

Sorry if you did not read the first line of my thread, but here it is again, above..\\

At the time I built the motor, the parts were alot higher than now, the only time the motor has been ran was during a dyno appoinment..Its never been installed in a Car, truck, boat, plane, motorhome, lawnmore, leafblower, motorcycle, tank sence it was built for me...

Its a seasoned block, 4 bolt, lunati forged steel crank(rated over 1000hp), H-beam manley rods, ARP studs or bolts in the rods, I think studs for sure, but that can be checked pretty easily, the pistons are forged with a special set up for alot of nitrous and rings, I cant remember the name brand of the pistons, Not Ross, Eagle or......????? The name was just capital letters??? sorry...

The block & heads are o-ringed, almost all the machine work was done by Gene Fulton, of Fulton Racing Engines,http://www.fultoncompetition.com/...the heads and intake was done by a guy at Clements Racing Engines-House of Power, http://www.clementsracing.net/, and a great engine builder in my area by the name of "Jimmy Hall" did all the work...
