Forged Piston Recommendations

I am cosidering several options on my LS7 rebuild, including Katech, and would like to hear everyone's recommendations on what is the absolute best forged piston.

Is this an *old style* LS-7? How much compression, RPM and use???

Or since you said Katech....maybe this is a new LS-7?

New LS7 for roadracing, compression 12:1, solid lifter setup, 7500 RPM.

I have the magnaflow too and love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty(salt in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here. magnaflow 15886, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are allways runnign sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install.
