Default c5 exhaust experiment

I was wondering if anyone could answer this question i 'm considering removeing my stock c5 exhaust, opening up the cans and takeing out what ever's inside and rewelding the cans back together anyone out there ever tried this and can let me know what kind of sound or resonance issues i can expect... thanks..
