Hi there, my vette is a 2002 with 215cc TFS heads and a 228/234 112lsa cam. I currently have an oem thickness head gasket. The heads have been milled down to 60cc. I want to raise the compression up as much as I can by running the smallest gasket possible. The heads have a 13.5 degree valve angle so I know they have more clearance than oem style heads. Anyone run this setup or can help with a ballpark calculation? I plan on doing a clearance test but would like to know what to expect. Thnx.
I am not sure on the LS series heads, but on the original TFS twisted wedge heads for A SBC had A 13 degree intake valve and Had less clearance than a Regular 23 degree heads.
Your best bet would be to call trick flow. They will help you out.
