Default Quick Fuel SS830 question

I could use some advise:

I have a Quick Fuel SS830 with mechanical secondaries on top of my Shafiroff SBC 427. It is equipped with electric choke which I would prefer to be a manual one.

Do Quick Fuel carbs start out as Holleys or are they Holley "copies" to a degree ie. would I be able to use Holley manual choke conversion kit for Holley 2300/4150/4160 such as this one:

Yes that will work. I, as have many others just use chokeless carbs.

I just fire the motor and hold it at 2500 rpm until it gets up to 80C and then get ready to go. it is the common race car start up to not move until you have heat in the motor.

Thanks, mate. But mine's not a race car just another grocery getter.
