Default 74 Semi-Pro Tourer

I want to give everyone the opportunity to get in their opinon on how well my car will preform. I have gathered much of my plan from here. So I am interested in what the Forum members think my car will do.

360 sb. 10.25 cr. TFS heads pocket ported w/backcut valves. CC 218-224 Hyd Rol + 1.6 rr = 529- 539 lift.
Air gap port matched, 750 Deamon "too rich right now"
FORGED crank, pistons and 6 in rods.
3.55s, M21 . 245-15s.

I want to join the 12 Second 20 MPG Club. Will this do it?

I don't think that with using the 6 inch rods you will get there with out changing the rear gear ratio .You are using a cam that is a bit on the small side as well but it has made a 12 second pass before!
I bet you will enjoy the power it makes though
:)

You might get into the high twelves but without fuel injection or a perfectly
tuned Quadra jet (wich has small primaries) I doubt 20 mpgs . :nonod:

High twelves on slicks, need better gears. Not going to make 20 mpg. Nice street car. :chevy

Kind of like mine except I am using the flat tappet cam (XE262) is lift is only .493/.500 with 1.6 rockers. I was able to get 20 mpg with the old mods and I think the more powerful engine balanced with the ROD 6 spd I ordered will really help (3.36 rears). With that 3.55, you really need some kind OD transmission. :smash:
