Street tires. 3 passes only. Rolling gently into the throttle and still spinning 20-30 feet every time. :lol: Baseline setup: 32 deg. total timing, "all in" at 3,000. 91 octane pump gas. :U Shifting at 5,500. (Very conservative, yes?) No tuning, tweaking, adjusting, jetting or other forking around between runs. As you can see it is not quite up to its potential and the driver's rusty, too:

No. 1:
R/T = .930
60' = 2.139
330' = 5.731
1/8 ET = 8.646
1/8 MPH = 85.00
1/4 ET = 13.275
1/4 MPH = 105.37

No. 2:
R/T = .535
60' = 2.199
330' = 5.805
1/8 ET = 8.742
1/8 MPH = 84.18
1/4 ET = 13.395
1/4 MPH = 105.00

No. 3 (Found a wild off-idle bog on this one)
R/T = .919
60' = 2.246 (!)
330' = 5.896
1/8 ET = 8.853
1/8 MPH = 83.56
1/4 ET = 13.557
1/4 MPH = 103.42

I'm completely disregarding everything except 1/8 and 1/4 MPH. I like the way it picks up +/- 20 MPH during the second half. It felt a little down on power across the board, though. I have many things to think about over the next week or so and timing and fuel delivery are first as is putting on a few more miles to make sure everything is seated properly. Remember, this has about 100 miles on it now--most of it below 3,000 RPM and at idle.

It was fun. I had roach coach nachos. Mmmmmm. Cheesy.

For your motor break-in, thats not bad.... but obviously a ton of et left through tuning and stickies. You going out next Saturday ? I'm definitely headed out next Saturday.

Not bad for some shake down runs. With a little tuning and practice it will be right where you want it. :cool: :cheers: :cool:

Yup, I'm there Saturday. Better tuneup. I'm also removing the PCV valve. I made a mistake and plumbed it directly to the manifold runners. This created a wicked vacuum leak AND contributed to the mixture in cylinders No. 2 & 4 being grunged up with blowby scuzz. I expect the elimination of this situation will contribute to a little better power output.
