540 build, what HP do you think this combo will make

Looking for anyone who can input the following into Desk Top Dyno or any other software package and let me know how much power this combo will make. Or any suggestions on the combination.

540 Bow Tie block
Mahle Pistons 13 cc dome
AFR 315 CNC Heads 10:8 - 1 compression
Victor Jr Intake Ported by Wilsons
Pro Systems 1000 CFM Carburetor
Oliver Rods (6.385)
Callies Crank
EZX Isky Lifters
TD Shaft Rockers
Comp Cam 265/270@50 183/183@200 Lift 736/714 on a 112

Some think I should go to the bigger 335 heads, but AFR has recommended the 315's. This car may see the track a couple of times each year. All purchased with the exception of the heads and cam.

Hoping for 750 HP.

I have basically just built the same setup-dart block 4.5 bore 4.25 crank-11.0 compression-although my cam is 265@.50 697 intake and exhaust,dart 335cnc heads,crane roller rockers and stud girdles.Polished hurricane manifold i like the polished look.It dynoed at 737 at 6200 with a 850 holley carb.I installed a 950 proform holley to pick up a couple of horsepower.I dont think you need a 1000cfm carb,but thats your decision you dont have enough compression for it i think.The 315's might work ok with your package,but i choose the 335cnc darts.What rpm do you plan on turning it to.I think your cam is to big unless you dont want any low rpm torque or horsepower-dont think it will start to make any serious power till 5000rpm[IMG][/IMG]

Well it's a rainy Friday night here, what else do I have to do

c66vet, I ran the spec's you gave in EA-Pro, with some guesses....
1.7 rockers
"EZX Isky Lifters" if I remember right, these are solid rollers?
Cam Intake centerline at 108 deg (4 deg advances - pretty typ for a Comp Cam)
2 in dia x 30 inch headers with an 18 inch collector, open no exhaust
Belt driven water pump
For the Victor Jr, I used a single plane with 5 inch runners, ported out to the head port size (straight port no taper). Wilson probably will port it out with a taper .. I could do that one later.
I had all the head spec's already loaded (from the AFR site) for the 315cnc and 335cnc, but I set both to 10.8 compression.
I let the program pick the best spark advance for now.

Think that's it, ran both the 315 and 335 cnc heads ...

If you buy into this whole Sim, thing ...
It say's the CFM's hit 1000 at about 6250 rpm
The 335's don't add that much

You already have more torque than you need to perform well down low so why not go with the bigger head and get more on top?

BTW any luck finding that cold air hood for a 66?

Thanks everyone for the input and for the rain in Mass. The reason for looking at the 315's is that most of the driving will be below 6000 rpm's and the 315's would be more responsive. The combo is based on data obained from my engine builder and AFR.

Super L98 you are correct this is a Comp Solid Roller Cam. Planning to use 2 1/8 headers.

Doug no luck with the hood, I have been searching for a second hood that I can cut and raise 1 inch. Based on all my measurements and modifications I should have 1/2 inch clearance with my existing hood using the Vic Jr cut at 5.9 rear anf 5.5 front. Sure would like to know if the cold air hood you were looking at is made by anyone. That is what the 66 BB hood should look like.

Again thanks for the response, trying to get the chassis completed before the motor is finished. Coil springs are kicking my butt, no weight bare frame.

I think you hit the combination right on the head. No need for the 335's for the engine you are building, cam looks good and that engine will definitely like the HP1000. I assume you had Patrick at Pro-Systems build your carb based on the engine specs ? A Dominator would make more power, but can be a little tough to get decent street manners out of. I have had 3 Pro-Systems carbs, usually right on right out of the box.

I would bet that engine will make right at 750 hp and pull to 7000 rpms easy. If you have never driven a fast car you will be in for a treat.
