I am thinking of building a spare BBC, I can possibly get a "512" "70 Vette", hasn't been decked, block through a friend. However, it currently has one sleeve and will need another, probably need to be bored 30 over. Is this worth building up as a cruising engine? Thanks

Not a thing wrong with a properly installed sleeve. we used to take a 350, sleeve all 8 and bore to .125 over- and then run the k-rap out of them.

Look at all the diesel trucks out there- every one has sleeves- from day one.
