Used to have an Art Carr Racing 7700R4 tranny in my Vette. It was the 850 hp version. For cooling lines I went to a shop that specialized in Hydrolic lines. Like back hoes and Bob Cats.

The 700 R4 actually has brass reducers off the case for the supply and return lines. I installed 45 degree. 1/2 inch inner diameter quick disconnect fittings. The biggest B&M tranny cooler also uses 1/2 inch in and out . I had the shop make up two SS braided 1/2 inner diameter teflon lines with quick disconnects on the tranny end and male threaded rotatable ends on the cooler end (they rotatate so you can tighten them without spinning the whole length)

The quick disconnects made it easy to yank the tranny in and out. I was using a 3800 stall and a govenor set to 6800 rpm. Never had any heat problems
