Default 427 tall deck strikes back!

I am looking for a streetable intake manifold for a "tall-deck" 427 or a means to modify a "regular" 427 manifold to a "tall-deck" (i.e.- spacers/ adapters) Or any other performance parts that are specific to a "tall-deck" motor. I have been able to find few resources....

Dart, Eldebrock, Brodix, World Prouducts and Holley all make or at one time made intakes specifically for a 10.2 tall deck BBC.

Moroso makes the spacer plates that allow you to use a short deck intake on a tall deck motor.

Streetable intake? That all depends on what your definition of "streetable" is. A Mcafee Sheetmetal intake with 2 1400CFM C&S Aresol Billet Dominators could be streetable on a big enough motor with enough gear and converter.

Try a marine engine building shop, they deal with a lot of tall decks.

just curious but why are you doing a tall deck motor? they have more rotating mass, poor intake flow and ful distribution, and are a logistical nightmare in most stock chassis cars

I'm sure the main reason most people build them is because of easy cubic inches and they're cheap to come by. I've had one for years and I couldn't give it away.
