This sounds like a problem with the VATS (VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM) cutting off fuel to the fuel injectors. It is also possible that this could be related to your pass key resistor pellet or ignition cylinder. The ignition reads your key's pellet. Sometimes the cylinder gets worn and will not read the key anymore. Try using your spare key and see if this still happens. If you want information on by-passing the VATS, I'll tell you how to do it for under $10.00 in parts.
