Default Anyone Interested in a Blower Motor

I pulled this motor last month from my '58 and have just finished cleaning, painting and polishing it. Email or call me for details, jmcandrew@scheerpartners.com or 301-908-8700 cell. It is also posted in the C1 parts for sale.

So by the title of this pic, is this car really a barn find ? I always liked the blown/ tubbed C1. Had a pic on my work tool box of one for many years, now in my garage

Do you know what size the blower is on your engine (6-71, 8-71)?

Thanks.

The blower is a Hampton 6-71. Don Hampton actually anwsers the phone at his shop and I have received a lot of helpful information from him.

Why I called it a barn find, the car was parked in a guys barn/warehouse in Michigan from 1990 until I bought it in September 2005. I was afraid to get in it b/c I thought there may have been snakes still living in it, but just a bunch of mice. It took a week to vacum out all the mouse crap and my garage smelled for 8 months. It took him 3 weeks got get me pictures b/c there were 12 other cars and airplane, motors, etc piled up in front of it and nothing ran, so moving them was a pain....

Any other details about the engine? Cam, compression, heads, etc?

Looks like the blower is underdriven so I assume it's a street engine?

Luv that car man, reminds me of my tubbed '60.

Thanks, Dave

Dave,

I don't, the motor came in the car when I bought it. yes it is a street motor. I am assuming the heads are the same as the block, 1975 GM iron heads.
