Default GM 454 crate motor
How does GM manage to get 450HP out of this motor when it has a small cam, and only 8.75 compression? Are they exaggerating the #'s ?

um... Four hundred and fifty four cubic inches...

That would be my guess.

I'm sure if you read the fine print they got 450 hp under very specific conditions.

its probably closer to gross hp then net hp.
