BFG Drag radials, what pressure are U running?
I am hesistant to go below 25psi. I have 275/35/18's on my basically stock 99 C5. I average mid 1.9's with the occasional feakish 1.85's for the 60' times.

My best 60' was a 1.808 which resulted in a 12.58 run. Sometimes a 3.5 clutch dump yeilds spinning thru 1st, and other times it bogs the motor. I am trying to do at least a 7 second burn-out. If I am feeling all macho and stuff I will hold 10 seconds or better and get the big plume going.

I've gone down to 15psi with bfg's 315 35 17's with no problems.

At 15psi and the tire being a "radial" is this counter productive due to the tire contact patch is now concave in relation to the pavement?

The lowest I've gone is 20lbs. Which yielded a 1.74 60ft.(stock motor) Real low pressure can give you some real spooky handling, watch out.

16lbs, 295/18....4000rpm clutch dump with a little spin gets consistent 1.70.

Not sure but I was able to cut 1.5x's on a well prepped track with 15 psi cold.

1.5 is just
. I do not think I will ever get that close with 318 at the wheels.

I also use 19 psi in my 275 17's. Watch your 60' times along with tread wear when you think you're close.

You have to experiment, what works for us may not work for you. Too many factors involved.
But, I run 275/50R15's and have 22psi hot.
