I'm going if my cars in one piece. I bet we can get another 5 or 6 cars.
cicch95,
In the Original Street Class it's certainly an advantage to be able to run close to the 12.5 index. Low 12s are not necessary - if you run quicker than 12.5 you're dis-qualified. All our classes are run heads up on a .500 pro tree so in theory a high 12 second car could do well by cutting good lights. We have a couple of Vettes in the Genuine Street Class that run right on the 11.5 index so they're tough to beat but Original Street is a new class; if you show up you may do better than you think.

I may be interested, but I have NEVER run on that tree, never. Don't know if I would help any, but let me know if you need me & I'll change my work schedule to go.....Call me a 4th string fill in I guess...
Dr.Ron,
We'd love to have you. Don't worry about the pro tree; there will be plenty of people there that will be happy to give you a few tips.

I've tried a "Pro Tree" once or twice & would "Love" to help out... but I have a date at E Town that could be very profitable.. I'm SURE there will be 15 others who think the exact same
I'm aware of the event at E-Town. I didn't do the scheduling, but I'm SURE that there will be one or two at Atco with experience on a pro tree.

I didn't realize there was an event @ Etown the same day. That would be a tough choice, but, I want to get back to Atco for some REAL traction again!! My 1 trip to Atco was where I had my best time last year.
Ron you are in luck as the choice is not that tough.
The Corvette Challenge event on Nov 13 is the Top 16 Gamblers race.
It is an inviational race where a driver earns a birth by finishing in the Top 16 in points. It is a $100 entry and $1000 payout to the winner so it is a big deal for us. Not all drivers in the top 16 make the race so we go down the list in points for find fill ins.
I don't beleive you are a points racers so you would not be eligible for the race (this year ) though we would appreaciate your support as a spectator.
If you want to race, the Atco race is a good alternative for you.
