Default unsprung weight

I am looking into buying the carbon fiber / magnesium wheels. How can I estimate what the difference in acceleration and or braking may be. Thanks for any advice

Dont take this as "gospel" The rule of thumb for every 100 lb you remove you gain will go app .10 quicker. Now I'm told that unsprung weight is about 25% more effective that sprung weight... i.e. removing 100 lb of unsprung = about 125 of sprung weight.

Dont hold me to this , its only what I've heard..

When I changed my car to Weld Pro Star wheels I lost about 100 lb of unsprung weight.. but at the same time I removed my mufflers (app 30lb) and changed to a 9" converter (another 25lb saving) so I lost about 150 total lb both sprung & unsprung..

My car picked up .2 tenths..
